The machine Squeezer has been designed for the application of dewatering of food waste which is fibrous in nature. The food waste fibrous content in majority fed into the machine should be in the range of 10 to 20 mm. shredded waste.
The squeezer has been provided with an optional arrangement of resistor plate so as to produce sufficient pressure for dewatering plugs formation and to enable more DS consistency in the output cake. The specially designed contours and the involute of the screw which takes in the food waste from the hopper and pushes forward against the mesh.
This action after an initial chock formation starts putting pressure on the entire gallop of the waste and allows the water to come out. Perforation on the outer side of the screw makes the way for water and the angle provided to the assembly makes it easy to drain the water. By this way the power requirement is minimum while the maximum water from the content is dewatered. The DS consistency can reach upto 35% depending on the variables like the type of feed, shredded particulate size & the resistor plate distance. Resistor plate is adjusted to get maximum output from the machine.
